Rules for Use of Agility Fields
Liability Waiver

The rules for the use of the agility field are as follows:
¨ Each person using the field(s) is responsible for checking the equipment before allowing dogs to practice. Any
broken equipment must be reported immediately. Any equipment assessed to be unsafe must be removed from
use immediately.
¨ Only those dogs and handlers who have taken an Advanced Beginner or higher level agility class are allowed the
use of the upper field. Introductory and Beginner level dogs are not allowed on this equipment outside of class.
Introductory and Beginner level dogs may use the lower field and equipment for practice.
¨ No dog is allowed on equipment that has not been practiced in class. In addition, no dog is allowed on equipment
at a height above which has been practiced in class.
¨ Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and taking the waste with them for disposal. The agility
fields are not to be used as a place to let your dogs run and socialize.
¨ Children MUST BE supervised at all times. They are not allowed to play on the equipment and must be in the
immediate vicinity of a supervising adult at ALL times.
¨ The use of the field is on a first come, first served basis.
¨ If for some reason you lower the height of the contact equipment (A-Frame, See-Saw or Dog Walk) on the upper
field agility field, you are responsible for putting it back to competition height. This height will be marked on the
proper link that sets the height.
¨ The combination to the locks will only be given to persons signing this waver. This number must be kept
confidential.
¨ Only people(s) who have signed a wavier are allowed to use the fields unsupervised. You cannot bring friends
with you if they haven’t signed a wavier.
¨ The fee for the use of the field(s) is $4.00 per person per day. This is for unlimited time and unlimited number of
dogs. It is your responsibility to make sure the fee is paid. There is a lockbox (mailbox) on the back of the shed
in which to deposit your money or voucher(s).
¨ Anyone not following ALL of these rules will be refused the use of the field(s).
I have read and understand the rules for the use of the agility fields at SDTC, Inc. I understand that my violation of these
rules will be grounds for revocation of my privileges at SDTC, Inc. which includes my unsupervised use of the agility fields.
I also recognized that participation in any dog activity may involve inherent risks and dangers to me, my family, guests
and my dogs(s). I hereby waive any claims and release SDTC, Inc., its Board of Directors, Instructors, Assistant
Instructors and Members from any liability for any injury to myself, family, guests or dog(s) while on the SDTC Inc.
property or while using SDTC Inc practice fields. I also expressly assume the risk of injury or liability, including such injury
arising as a result of the actions or inactions of myself or of my dog(s). I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless
SDTC, Inc., its Board of Directors, Instructors, Assistant Instructors and Members from any and all claims by or on behalf
of myself, my family, or guest that accompany me.
