Here we are...

On Friday the rain crew made the wonderful drop cloth for the painting project.
They hauled in the equipment from the field into the building -- in the rain ...
They also set up the fans, removed hinges, scraped, sanded, primed and painted.
On Friday we also got soaked bringing up the equipment in the the pouring rain!

On Saturday, we painted, weedwacked by hand, pulled weeds in that rock covered hillside facing the field...
braving ticks and bees.  Disassembled those darn weave poles and primed them --
so when you see brown, blue and teal rocks, you know they were a part of that project.

This is Sunday's work crew ... there were more, but I did not capture them in action on film...

On Sunday, we painted, touched up, scraped, sanded, primed, painted,
hauled all the equipment back down to the fields, re-assembled equipment
(those darn weave poles !!!)  with new hardware, pulled weeds, re-freshed flagpole
and Dedication area, mowed, vacuumed, relocated missing weave poles,
secured lids and restacked paint cans, drilled, screwed and took home the garbage.

We had a great crew.  I was there both Sat and Sun 9-3 and we WORKED !!!!!

~ Judy Johnson

Judy did a wonderful job in writing up what we did
and
Elane's custom homemade doggie items were to cute!

Just to add that I am always amazed at how much a small number of people can
accomplish when they work together and have fun while doing it.
Elane did a great job with keeping her crew happy by making sure we had enough to eat and drink.
The raffle prizes were a nice touch, too!  It was a good time.

I wanted to thank both Elane & Chris for doing a great job
organizing & for Chris's suggestion that we clean up the grounds a bit for the picnic.
I thoroughly enjoyed being outside on a beautiful weekend (what a sense of accomplishment).
Thanks to everyone who worked and as a team we got more done than originally planned.
Good Job Everyone!

Ann Ryan
